Test Results Required Upon Return from Spring Break

Dear Parents and Families, April 6, 2022

As we prepare for spring break, your child’s safety is our number one priority. Therefore, our school is distributing two (2) free rapid antigen tests kits for each child before spring break. These tests are a free resource to help reduce the spread of COVID-19. Students may have already brought them home.

Students are strongly encouraged to self-test no earlier than 48 hours before returning to school. Therefore, please test your child on Saturday, April 16th or Sunday, April 17th, 2022.

Individuals who test NEGATIVE DO NOT need to upload their test result, but should be ready to show a picture to the personnel checking the daily pass school on Monday, April 18, 2022.

Individuals who test POSITIVE should: · isolate immediately and follow isolation protocols
· contact a doctor to make a plan for care, and
· upload the POSITIVE result to Daily Pass

You will need your child’s student ID number which can be found on the Parent Portal or on your student's ID card. Once you are logged into the Daily Pass, please write your child’s information on a piece of paper: (1) full legal name, (2) date of birth, (3) test date, (4) result date, and the word “POSITIVE.” Take a picture of the piece of paper and test kit as shown in the photo: Then, upload the photo by logging into your Daily Pass account and selecting “Submit External Non-LAUSD COVID-19 Test Result” Please watch an instructional video at the link below for a step-by-step guide on uploading your child’s POSITIVE test result. You may also contact the Los Angeles Unified Family Hotline at 213-443-1300, Monday-Friday, 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Thank you for your support. Wishing you and your family an enjoyable spring break.

Sincerely,
