Ms. Castro notified me this morning that due to the Stay at Home Order by LA County, we cannot allow students to come to the campus. You should be staying at home except to get food or essential supplies. (Please comply with this order; we need to stop the spread of Covid. You may be carrying the virus without knowing it.)
Therefore, all books currently awaiting pickup will be returned to the shelves and removed from your record (later this week). Hold onto any books you have until further notice. Please put them somewhere you will find them, like with your backpack.
In January, when the new semester starts we will address going forward how books will be circulated. This will all depend on how well, the citizens of the city comply with restrictions and stop spreading the virus, and thus, filling up the hospitals. The yearend holidays will likely be a huge problem to that end if people do not stay at home.
In the meantime, E-Books are available to you through the LA Public Library (LAPL) using your Success Cards. Information on how to check-out books from this resource is on the school website here:
All the instructions below are on hold for the time being.
