Teen Court

What is Teen Court? 
  • Teen Court involves young people in various roles and participating in the trial of a juvenile offender to accept responsibility for their actions.
  •  Known as a juvenile diversion and prevention program that links students, schools, teachers, parents, juvenile offenders, local police, civic organizations, volunteer attorneys, the Los Angeles Probation Department, and the Los Angeles Superior Court. 
  • You can volunteer to participate as jurors, clerks, and bailiffs, and the juvenile offender benefits from participation. 
  • If interested the age of 11-17 are eligible for participation in Teen Court.
